Dr. Basha understands startup ecosystems, having served as CEO of Chandigarh University TBI and Osmania University TBI. As a result of his advisory roles with organizations such as ESCI-HYDERABAD, UPSC, and the Ministry of Education, he is committed to driving impactful change. Having mentored budding entrepreneurs for MSME and AIM-NITI Aayog, Dr. Basha has played a pivotal role in guiding them to success. With his extensive experience and strategic insights, he is a valuable advisor for “Own a Startup” in its mission to empower entrepreneurs and foster innovation.
Nishant Peddagopu
Nishant Peddagopu brings a wealth of experience to the “Own a Startup” program. Currently, he serves as Chief Operating Officer of BITS-TEC, fostering innovation and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. His diverse background spans business advising, research, and even culinary creativity. Previously, Nishant held roles as a Material Scientist at Procter & Gamble and a Researcher at the University of Cologne. He also championed innovation as an Innovation Fellow at the Osmania Technology Business Incubator. This multifaceted experience allows Nishant to connect with founders on multiple levels, guiding them through the technical, strategic, and practical aspects of launching a successful startup. His passion for empowering others and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit makes him a valuable asset to the program.
